Stayed 2 nights and loved it. The staff were really helpful, drinks competitively priced, the buffet breakfast was great, the room was clean, functional with a well appointed bathroom.. Only downside was the extotianate laundry charges. We found a laundrette 2 streets away but too late! Will definitely return more

Stayed in an oceanfront double room for $220. Hotel staff are efficient and capable. Excellent doorman! Left my camera in the room and the desk staff promptlly mailed it back to me after I called from the airport. Rooms are adequate at best. Bathroom well-equippped and worked, but not without some nasty drain odors. Keep the windows closed at night... more

When you first arrive, you can't believe that this is your hotel as it looks amazing from the outside and the location couldn't be better on the promenade d'anglais and close to the shops/casinos. Booked the hotel after reviews on tripadvisor. We booked a taxi with viator tours from the airport. This cost about £23 for 2 people but is always good value when travelling to your hotel. Truly an horrdendous experience. The hotel is very old and run down. Okay there are some rooms which are just about bearable, but most are hiddeously dated. If you like rubber sheets, mouldy tiles, broken showers and bed bugs....and no I am not exagertaing ! then you'll love Le Royal, believe me there is NOTHING ROYAL about this place, well... more
