Stayed for one week in July, weather hot, hot, hot -last minute holiday and booked accommodation with Club Cantabrica. Having used their coach before opted for flying this time, got cheap Ryan Air to Toulon - lovely airport - and private taxi to Prairies de la mer. With transfer £80.00 per person return all in, well worth it. Stayed in... more

This was a bit of a last minute thing which we booked through a coach operator called Club Cantabrica. Never having travelled by coach before we were a bit unsure of what to expect. The coach journey down to the French Riviera was as bad as we could have imagined I suppose. The coach was supposed to be a luxury... more

Have just come back from a very enjoyable 8 night stay at Les Prairies de la Mer. This is a huge site with 1400 plots and is therefore very busy. However, EVERYWHERE in the the Cote d'Azur is busy in August and I think you have to be prepared for that and just get on with it. The site is... more

Had fantastic time at this campsite. Large campsite right on the beach no busy roads to cross. Booked direct with the campsite and went for the basic mini california, when we arrived we were quite shocked at just how smal the mobile home was but as we spent most of our day out and about, on the beach or on... more

We go to Europe almost every year and usually stay in a hotel, so we decided to try a different trip this time. I absolutely loved staying at Les Prairies. The accomadations were a step above camping in a tent. There was a stove, sink, refrigerator, shower, seperate toilet, and fan (which came in handy) in the trailer that we... more

We love this place. Since 1998 we have stayed here most years at varying times between very late May, June, July and August. Enjoyed every stay but less so in August where it is noisy, lots of drunken teens at night, crowded and more expensive. Facilities great always, immaculately clean whatever month we stay here. We travel from New Zealand,... more

We have just returned after staying at this campsite for 2 weeks. There are over 3,000 sites here and extremly busy. Our mobile was fine, basic, but its a campsite so we werent expecting the Ritz. The site is very well maintained and the bathrooms and showers were spotless, the same couldnt be said for the beach. It is a man made beach and therefore very dusty... more

We stayed last year booking directly with siesta holidays, and have never tried this kind of holiday before.Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lodges and surrounding areas spotlessly clean and right by the entrance, supermarket, restaurants etc. The reps couldn't do enough for you giving you all kinds of helpful information. Fantastic bakery on site - bought fresh baguettes every morning - the... more

We stayed at the Prairies De La Mer Campsite in Port Grimaud for 10 nights starting 24 May 2007. It was our first time staying in this area and we were not disappointed! The campsite is very clean and right on the golden beach looking across to St tropez. We travelled with a coach company so had a lodge onsite.... more
