I am looking out now at the most amazing panorama of hills, sea, fantastic gardens and even more fantastic villas...a superb location and a pleasant surprise at 140 euro, a stones throw from the famous La Reserve de Beaulieu! The lady who greeted us has excellent english and is most pleasant, the rooms have 1930's and 50's furnishings that in other hotels would have been carefully selected from flea-market/antique stores to create an atmosphere of shabby chic....here the chairs and side tables have merely had time catch up with them in situ. A very functional bathroom with a bidet and shower, small television and giant closet. The bed is not a queen size, but at least it is a true double, we are thoroughly tired of the 'twin bed pushed together and falling down the gap inbetween syndrome'. Splendid big lounge area downstairs, pray for rain so you can sit and read an excellent novel looking out at the sea.
