Hotel le Chardon Bleu is quite a find among "two star" European hotels. It's very clean, and has spacious rooms & bathrooms (rare in Europe). The price was also very affordable! This is a truly nice hotel. The rooms almost all have balconies or a terrace, they are very clean and well maintained, the location is GREAT, very near the beaches and the pedestrian zone of the center, and the owners are very nice and helpful. We stayed in Hotel Le Chardon Bleu on June 17, 2004 and booked two rooms for one night. This is an owner-operated hotel and therefore the rooms were immacutely clean and well maintained. We usually get rid of the bedspread the first time we walked into any hotels, but in this hotel we got the clean and white afghan instead... more
