Other points to note...no fire alarm testing all the time we stayed and we understand there has NEVER been a fire drill for the staff or clients...does the local authority know? Surely? Very expensive and over-rated for what we got, staff not friendly. The valet parking was nice, check-in took a long time. we had booked 2 adjoining rooms, 1 for young children - which was supposed to be done out in children;s bed sheets, etc., disappointing. I really dont understand the bad reviews of this hotel. I sometimes wonder what our friends across the pond expect!!. This is one very understated classy establishment.
