We were looking for a quiet and nice location on the Cote d’Azur, trying to avoid the more touristic and populated areas, but still convenient to explore the sea side and the small villages hidden in the hills.
We did not want to stay in a hotel as we wanted to have the possibility to cater for ourselves and did not want to end up in a very big resort. As it was only the two of us, it was also difficult to find a cottage with swimming pool to rent.
The Mas Saint Antoine was a great find. We booked the appartment "Les Pieds dans l'eau" which is composed of a main room (with a small – but well equipped kitchen, and a small but cosy living area) and a bedroom. We also had our own space outdoor next to the swimming pool, with a table which was great when we wanted to have meals outside. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. It felt very homely and authentic.
