Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to splurge and stay at this small hotel in the old part of St. Tropez. We had a lovely room at great expense, and, indeed, the hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the main activity on the harbor. A photo of Brigitte Bardot on the table in our room sits like... more

Of all the luxury hotels I've stayed in all over the world, never did I receive such awful service and face arrogant staff (owner of the hotel). My friend and I had a rather unfortunate experience during our stay. Besides the fact that they double booked our room and made us leave a few days before our confirmed check-out (first... more

We know St Tropez and its hotels extremely well, so what would we recommend? Chateau Le Messardiere (very expensive, a mile or so out of town, but worth it for its stunning views and beautiful decor), the Sube (much, much cheaper and with fairly basic rooms but with St Tropez's best bar - perfect for your morning breakfast and evening... more

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in from every perspective. Rooms, food, service, quality are exemplary. All the staff are superb and are what we call ABCD people (as is the hotel) Above And Beyond the call of Duty without being fawning in any way. To have dinner or breakfast in the courtyard around... more

This hotel warrants all the praises on these reviews. Great location, super staff, wonderful food, however a small word of warning, do not stay in Room 2. Its above the old laundry room or something and it gets unbearably hot at night. When we pointed this out they did apologise but made no effort to compensate for a very uncomfortable... more

What a find ! Superb old charm hotel with genuinely friendly professional staff (so rare in France...the friendly bit). We initially couldn't find the hotel so we phoned reception, who said to describe where we were...which we did...they then sent someone out to find us and drove the car to the hotel for us !...and the service got better !.... more

My friend Michael and I stayed at La Yacca last summer for 6 days and found it to be everything we had heard it was. Small and intimate, hidden away but at the same time right in the middle of everything; walking distance to all the best restaurants, clubs, the boats, and shops. The concierge was amazing, and the pool... more

Only for guests who can appreciate total charm. This hotel takes such care with all the details of this wonderful property. The best of everything down to the soap, linens, flowers tiles in the bathroom, the scent and the hanging artwork. Incredibly beautiful gardens and pool area. The entire hotel makes me feel like I am staying at someone's home.... more
