The Hameau des Templiers is a wonderful chambre d'hotes in Vence. Everything was good - the large light clean modern bedroom, the swimming pool & garden not forgetting the lovely continental breakfasts with home made jam. Breakfast was served outside but there is also a beautiful modern living room . There is only one room let to guests & the modern shower is in the room so it is best suited to couples. Your own private toilet is separate. Chantal kept the whole place spotless & the garden is tended by JJ. Vence is a great town to stay in & it is a 5 minute walk to the centre by a fairly steepish footpath. The other way is 15 minutes along the flat & with pavements. If you are looking to stay in a French home at a reasonable price, this will be hard to beat. JJ speaks some English & Chantal is learning fast. They are a very welcoming & helpful couple. more
