This is a true Auberge, expect friendly service but don`t expect a lift & air conditioning in your room. Great location within a minute of the old town. The restaurant looked a great place to have dinner on a cold night warmed by the spit roast , in summer they move outside to a terrace overlooking the mountains. To be... more

My family and I were delighted to have stayed with Sandrine and her parents last weekend. As many reviews have already said, the hotel is charming and beautifully positioned in the Old Town of Vence. But what makes the Auberge des Seigneurs stand out is the genuine warmth and hospitality of its owners. The owners went way and above the... more

We loved Vence and the service and food was second to none especially at this hotel. Located in the walls of the "Old Town" and within easy walking distance to many other superb restaurants that Vence has to offer. more

This is a great little hotel right in the middle of the old town of vence. The people who run it are the friendlist people - lots of personal little touches, flowers in the room and a very warm welcome. the location is fantastic - our room overlooked one of the little squares of the old town. and the view... more

My partner and I loved this place. I agree with the previous points made: it's a great value for money. Super clean. The managers are welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. more

After we saw this hotel on Trip Advisor we booked it immediately and we weren't disappointed! Not only is the room very good but the people are lovely, frindly, and helpful. The room is the spickest spanniest(?) cleanest room EVER - we caught them cleaning on day and there were 2 ladies working their socks off. The restaurant is fabulous... more

When you see a Vence (a tourist destination) hotel in Tripadvisor ranked # 1 with a cost of 65 euros a night it gets your attention. We booked for one night during the week. The hotel lives up to its very positive reviews. But it is not a hotel for everybody. If you want a flat screen TV', a pool,... more

I spent a week at this lovely auberge this past spring with my mother. The rooms and the hotel restaurant are located in a wing of 400 year old castle on the outskirts of the historic part of Vence. We stayed in the Dufy room (all the rooms are named after painters who once stayed there) which was very large... more

Having read all the previous fair and cogent reviews, we (my wife and I) just don't want to make any redundent remarks, except that one reviewer might have painted a too somber picture of his/her first impression upon arrival--that the interior has some resemblance to a medieval dungeon full of torture tools. Actually the "torture tools" are a great collection... more
