As our first night's stop this was a great start to our walk. Everything looked fresh & clean, nd the food was excellent. Easy 10 minute walk to the local pub, (via short-cut) where the food is also very good (Downing Arms). Made us feel welcome and fabulous views over the Welsh hills.

Does'nt get any better than this for tired walkers of Offas Dyke! Great welcome, attention to detail superb , very comfortable spacious room, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, excellent breakfast. Really helped us to enjoy the walk and appreciate the area.

My wife and I stayed three nights in August. Dee and Alex were fanatastic hosts, extemely welcoming and informative; providing a great service all round. The breakfasts were first rate, beds comfortable, rooms spotlessly clean and views outstanding.

My good friend and I walked the lenght of Offa's Dyke in late June, we stayed in Valeside for our second night B&B. What a great welcome, tea and toasted teacakes for the weary walkers. Even our damp boots were dried with some electric warmers! The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit a beautiful area.
