A truly warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere contributed greatly to a very pleasing one night stay. Many great aspects combine (log fire, breakfast in farmhouse style kitchen, genial hosts, location etc., etc.) to provide a really relaxing but also efficient stay. This was a hidden gem on the last stage of the path and we needed it! Hugh picked us up from the pub - brilliant because it was pouring with rain - and we'd pre-arranged dinner, which was delicious. Great position for an over-night from the Offa's Dyke walk. This is just the right distance to make the coast in 1 day!
