My husband and I stayed at L'Aspholdele for 4 nights in June mainly to explore the Luberon area (and celebrate my birthday!). I located this B and B on the internet and the website description is entirely accurate. The setting of L'Asphodele is heavenly, quiet, amazing views and attentive (but not overwhelming) hosts. The breakfast, (taken on the first floor terrace of the main house with 180 degree views across the unspoilt countryside) rates amongst the best 'continental' we have experienced worldwide. The owners take care to source the breakfast jams, cheeses and meats locally - all fresh (and unusual) and changing daily. If you want a truly wonderful experience, rather than just another 'bed and breakfast' stop, then head for L'Asphodele - you won't be disappointed! more
