This hotel only opened on 1 August 2008 and the area around it is very much in a state of redevelopment. Plenty of positives, though. After reading so much about how dangerous Marseille is, I was really pleased to find that the Ibis was situated in the center of the Euromediteranee Commercial District. It was absolutely safe at night and the Tram runs literally from the doorstep of the hotel into central marseille. Really useful if you want to avoid using the Metro at night... more
