For value this place is the best in Marseille. The location is a 20 minutes from the old Port but there are some interesting vbuilding on the way. The hotel is very modern and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful as are the bar staff. reception is modern and bright. Rooms are clean and special with small windows.... more

This was the third time we stayed here (two nights) and we really like the hotel. Since it is rather new everything feels fresh, which sometimes is an underrated experience. The rooms are of the usual Ibis standard i.e. you know what you get. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a business/office district which makes... more

On my summer trip, I stopped by in Marseille and stayed a night at the Ibis Eurmediterranee Hotel. No comment about this hotel, very clean, very nice, excellent value for money. There is also a nice parking close to the hotel, just not free. But there is one thing - maybe an isolated event, or just who Marseille is, i... more

I've said this when reviewing IBIS Nice, and I'll say it again - an IBIS is an IBIS. As they go though, this is decent fare. Our first impression of the place was not a good one though - we had booked online and though they had accepted my card details, they said they couldn't accept my U.K. Debit Card... more

We stayed a long weekend at this hotel and found it to be a bit isolated. There were no restauarants or bars close by at the weekend but there were ones that did open during the week and cater for the business community. After a days shopping we went back to the hotel at 5 pm to chill out. When... more

We spent a long weekend in Marseille from 21-23/09/08 Marseille is a great late summer destination - hot, cultural, great days out etc and is undergoing a huge regeneration exercise Hotels either seemed quite expensive or poor quality so we were pleased to find this new Ibis (opened August 2008) at around £65 ppn (although the quote I received seemed... more

This hotel only opened on 1 August 2008 and the area around it is very much in a state of redevelopment. Plenty of positives, though. All double rooms (possibly all rooms but not certain) have kingsized beds which is a real bonus in an Ibis. Security is good with room keycard operated lifts and well situated reception desk. Very clean,... more

After reading so much about how dangerous Marseille is, I was really pleased to find that the Ibis was situated in the center of the Euromediteranee Commercial District. It was absolutely safe at night and the Tram runs literally from the doorstep of the hotel into central marseille. Really useful if you want to avoid using the Metro at night... more
