Newly built hotel, nive design, interesting art on the wall, large rooms (stayed in a superior room with balcony), our daughter loved it too. Nice hotel with the reception in the old building of Institut Pasteur. Really a grand and historic entrance! Rooms spacey and well equipped: recommended! For all who visit the European capital of 2013!

It is a beautiful hotel, nicely decorated, let's say a design hotel. We've been sleeping there 2 nights on the 29th and 30th of April. The temperature outside was about 22° and inside around 27°. We've just spent a great weekend at the New Hotel Marseille. Loved the pop art, fun lighting and friendliness of the staff, particularly the very helpful bell boys. Excellent spacious room and reception areas. We couldn't use the outside facilities due to the bad weather. Easy to walk into town or hop on a bus to get to the centre.... More

i have been in the hotel, as we organized a very big event at Palais le Pharo. so it was very practical as the hotel is just in the front of the hotel. the area, is called the Pharo area, which is a walking distance to the plage des catalans and this nice walking area, and also to vieux port.... Beautiful modern rooms. Nice old world charm with new world charm. However, Wifi gets Kicked off every 5 minutes, even the conceigre had the same problem. Easy to find, short walk to everything, friendly staff, exeptional service, good breakfast, cool, artsy, parking, (public but half priced for hotelguests) just GREAT. There are hotels closer to the port, it that´s where you want to be, but close to Plage Catalan for sunsets, good restaurants (very cosy at Eden Roc, for example) and great for jogging, swimming etc... I would always stay here. Its not cheap but it has great rooms and staff, and sitting around the pool looking down the coast ... take me away to Marseille Its in a great location, easy parking, the restaurant is good (but there is sooo much good food in Marseille other than the Hotels)
