We stayed here for 8 days in october 2008. After the noise and business of Paris it was heavenly to have a quiet place in the countryside.We had taken the smallest gite Le Vieux Figuier which was ideal for the two of us.Very cosy and great to come to after a full day of exploring Provence.With the owner's directions we found it easily enough, on a country road between St Remy and les Baux (great base from which to visit Provence) and 15 minutes away from the medieval village of Les Baux.It was equipped with everything we needed including a washing machine which we really needed at this point. A big basket of fresh tomatoes as well as one of Thierry's melons were on the table upon our arrival. It was also great to have our own garden area in which to relax and have a bottle of wine after a busy day, and we certainly saved money by doing some groceries and eating in several nights.
