JUst got back from this hotel. I was not disappointed but was not pleased either. Staff is friendly. Rooms are OK nothing special. This is listed as a 4 star by the local tourism board. I'd say three stars. Location is great but the rest is just OK. No real complaints though. more

Having read earlier reviews we were apprehensive but we needn't have worried. The hotel was fine. Refurbishment is underway and when this is complete the hotel will be even better. Location 10 minutes walk from town and harbour, staff were friendly and efficient. Room clean and perfectly adequate. more

An easy walk from the rail station, even if you're dragging luggage. Plenty of eating places within a 10-minute walk. Staff very friendly, rooms very clean, including the bathrooms.
