I am more than disappointed with this company and will 100% not be booking with them again or recommending them to anyone. Basically my whole trip was ruined and wanted to leave day1. -Booked with IGOSKi but didn't receive confirmation. Rang up and asked for it to be sent as the holiday was in 3 days. Received it later that... More

Stayed in the attached chalet for a week. I don't really understand what people are ranting about, the accommodation is in no means luxurious but it's pleasant, clean and modern. The chalet itself was perfect for us with teenagers as the layout had enough areas to socialise as a group but also laid out in a way that meant everyone... More

If you are expecting a five star hotel for a weekend away with your other half then don't go to the bdn, but if you want a decent base to go skiing from, its a good location that's near to the centre of Chamonix. The staff were helpful and very friendly (most of them). "cosy" describes the rooms well but... More

Despite some of th negative comments about this hotel, I have to say that having just arrived back from there following a four day stag weekend, we were all pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. being on a stag you tend not to worry about where you sleep and more about where you drink. Having said that as a bunch... More

Having read the reviews on here I was nervous before I went, as I didn't book the Accomodation on our lads weekend. But I was very pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by great staff, Malcolm and Oli that's you. Yes the rooms were small, but how much time do you spend in them? They were clean and tidy and everyday... More

I was travelling with two friends on a "Dads' away-weekend" having done the chalet thing to death pre-kids, and we plumped for a 4 day trip rather than our previous week-long jaunt, if only to keep the wife happy. As it turned out, 3 days on the slopes was plenty, and we couldn't have been happier staying here. I'm frequently... More

Facilities are basic but great position in town close to slopes, great staff, warm and clean. Nice bar and very reasonably priced drinks. Cooked breakfast. And a comfortable bed too! We stayed there last year as well and we will be going back next year!

I was part of a group on a skiing trip booking a package with this hotel. Our rooms were great , hot water all the time , and we really used it at all times , rooms were much more than clean and functional , all I missed was a little music or TV , otherwise it had everything. Great... More

i was pretty wary of this hotel due to some poor reviews but our party of 5 middle aged guys on a long weekend was pleasantly surprised in Jan 2013. Small but friendly bar on ground and a basic restaurant. Igo ski staff were very helpful. 3 course dinner was much better than reviews suggested. Rooms are fine with a... More

Really puzzled with some of the reviews for this hotel. Yes, the hotel is basic (it is a two star after all) but the Manager and staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. The hotel bar closes at 11am but if you can't find a drink in Chamonix 5 minutes away in the centre of town after this... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
A charming and characterful ski-hotel in the centre of Chamonix, much improved for 2012/13! The hotel is only 2 mins walk to the ski slopes and was partially renovated for the 2012/13 season. It offers excellent value accommodation in the centre of one of France’s most vibrant mountain towns. The hotel has a wonderful sun terrace that looks out on Mont Blanc and gives spectacular views of the mountains and Aguille Midi. Downstairs is an atmospheric boutique-style bar and brasserie in which we serve cakes and afternoon tea and our 3 course evening meals for hotel guests. The Bdn is a very central hotel, located just a stone’s throw from the slopes and lifts that access the popular Brevant and Flegere ski areas. In fact the slopes are less than 2 mins walk away!It is a rare thing indeed for a hotel in Chamonix to be located so close to the slopes, yet so near to the centre of town. This gives our guests the best of both worlds: nearly doorstep skiing and very convenient shopping and aprés ski! ... more   less
