We spent a weekend in Chamonix and booked a suite in the mentioned hotel for € 400, night. At arrival we have not been asked if we had a pleasant trip, the check in was very cold and not profesionall. After we got in the room i claimed that my night tbale lamp did not work, a receptionist came up... more

We stayed in a corner room with a view of mountains on both sides of the Chamonix valley. The room was modern luxurious with rustic touches, and had a perfect large bathroom with a soaking tub, walk in shower and separate w/c. A short walk away from the main restaurant and shopping area, the Aiguille du Midi cable car, and... more

This is a wonderful hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a small room (104), which was a lot larger than expected. The bed was a large king-size, and the room even had space for a small table with two chairs. The two main highlights of the stay was: 1) the Pool and 2) the Bar. The pool... more

This is a High class Michelin star restaurant, that charges a high price for the food and service. We paid 300 euro for the two of us, which is about three times more than any other good meal we've had out in Europe. THis was a big night out. The setting is beautiful, wood paneled room, classy old world furnishings.... more

I read many reviews before selecting this hotel and i was a bit puzzled by the fact tha most loved the place while some were really dissapointed. Its true, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Chamonix downtown core, and there is a train track in the back, and a road right next to the hotel, and yes... more

I have stayed in Chamonix many times and always wanted to stay here, finally a room was free. The arrival was a slight disappointment, we couldnt find space to park the car, the staff were somewhat stiff and the room did not match the newly renovated ones on the web site, the torquiose bathroom looked like it dated from the... more

We stayed at the place called La Ferme where rooms are a mix of modern furniture and old wood wich is a true great place. I know theay alsi hace refurbished the main historic hotel but we did not try it so far. Given the rate, we could only experience a couple of days but really enjoyed it. The restaurant... more

My family and I stayed in two adjoining and connecting rooms (including 308) on the third floor of the main building. This is a wonderful hotel, beautifully appointed with an old world feeling combined with ultrachic and ultramodern facilities. We could have stayed here a week! The beds are big, fluffy and very comfortable. The furnishings are quite modern. The... more

What more can I say? We chose our room (45m) in the La Ferme Chalet. Beautifully appointed and the service was excellent. This should be a 5 star Hotel. The room had a fireplace which was great, as the temps were low - even for June. It has a large bathroom with jets and relaxing bath salts and a first... more
