After a week camping we decided to spend the last night of our trip in a hotel - big mistake! This hotel is located one kilometer away from downtown Chamonix. If you're not willing to walk that far, there are bus and train services running through the stops nearby. Even though the hotel is not ideally located and the beds aren't very comfortable, it offers an excellent value for money, even during high season. There was enough space for both... more
