I'd been trying to get in for years without success despite being a member but when I finally did it and took some friends it was worth the wait. You have to look past the slight grubbyness (dusting isn't a high priority here - it's the food and drink) and relax into the homely clubby atmosphere and you will have... more

I stayed here with my husband and a large group of friends from college to celebrate a friend's birthday. We stayed in the Black Room which was lovely if a little dark. It was decorated with old furniture and had a boudoir feel to it, but the bathroom was thoroughly modern with a teak heated floor and rainforest shower for... more

From the moment we arrived the team all greeted us and all of the stress of pre xmas in the UK started to drip away, We both love Milk and Honey so the opportunity to stay somewhere with the same feel, same high standards and same attention to detail seemed unmissable. Within 5 minutes, we had been introduced to everyone... more

For the third year I took our staff away for a Xmas break. I found the clubhouse via google and spoke to Sandie about how she could accomodate our numbers as one of the rooms was already booked. From the outset Sandie was very helpful and managed to book an additional apartment for us for our extra numbers. From the... more

I stayed at the Club House in Chamonix in mid Jan for a short snow boarding break - Wed to Sun. I was in a group of six (three couples). We did not opt for the Club House transfers since they are expensive and since we could not all fit in the Club's X5 decided that all minibus transfers are... more

My stay at the Clubhouse was perfect. Nothing was too much for the staff, you only had to ask and they would sort it out for you, things such as ski passes and organised trips out. All of the staff were friendly and would always remember your name. The hotel itself was perfect with the rooms and food first class,... more

We have just returned from a New Year's ski break in the beautiful resort of Chamonix. We stayed in the Club House and right from the moment of check-in found the service to be amateur. Standing in the tiny reception room with suitcases and bootbags at our feet the receptionist looked at us blankly as we attempted to check in.... more

After years of visiting France in Winter to ski we decided to take the family for a Summer break. Really glad we chose the Clubhouse as the weather was poor but staying in was a real pleasure. The staff were fantastic. They let us upgrade our room foc and could not be more helpful in organising some trips for us.... more

Positives are decent food and central location, but there are too many negatives to mention. The Clubhouse is really just a bar with soom rooms above. The view from the (black) room was ok but only above 3 large chalets outside the window. The bar has been ruined by a policy to give free Wi-fi to members (fees are E150)... more
