This was one of the least expensive hotels of our recent visit to France. What a lovely surprise it turned out to be. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the town of Chamonix. The staff is superb, the room spacious, with niceties that you find in much more expensive rooms. The bartender also mixed a wonderful Caipirinha! more

Beautiful hotel, delightful staff. However do not under any circumstances take a room on the front of the old part of the hotel. With no air conditioning, in summer it is a nightmare of constant street noise until after 4.00 am - thus windows must remain closed but even then it is impossible to exclude the noise. more
