I have to confess up front that we just love Courchevel and would be perfectly happy never to ski anywhere else. It is probably one of the most expensive resorts in Europe but we just love the breadth of the skiing and its accessibility. we also booked with jet2 from manchester to chambrey for a quick visit to courchevel 1850 , we managed to get two rooms at the new solarium at the first stop off the jardin alpin lift. we did get some snow chains with our safira but i would reccomend that anyone should ask to be shown how to fit them... more

Ski in Ski out : The hotel is within about a 2 minute walk to the Jardin Alpin piste, on which, within 5 munutes, you can ski down to the main 1850 centre for all the lifts at the Croisette/shops etc.Also attached to the hotel is a Ski Set shop where you can hire skis etc or store your own... more

If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Courchevel 1850 look no further. The decor, service, food and location were all 5*.
