It does overlook the lake - and we did have the top room in the place, and it is freshly renovated. All decor and outfitting is very basic - clean, narrow stairs, funky decor, cheerful staff, adequate for a 1 night stay in passing. more

The Oasis is not the Ritz, it dosn't pretend to be but it's a nice clean french hotel with a friendly english speaking owner. Our room had a nice view of Lake Geneva from the sundeck. That was the good part. The room was very small with a double bed and a single bed. We had travelled for 30 days in Spain and France and this was by far the smallest room. There was only one other couple in the hotel at the time... more
