I have stayed here for just 1 night but i really really enjoyed it. It's located at the top of Fourvière hill. Many people complain about the walk. yet, the walking is actually just 10 minutes, so it is not as bad as people make it seem. Took the subway and got off at Vieux Lyon, then transferred to the tram (same metro ticket) and made my way to Minimes. This hostel has a magnificent view. It's got a great patio, clean rooms, and a reasonably clean bathroom. The showers are designed so that you have to push a button every 30 seconds to keep the water flowing so that people don't stay in the shower for too long. Basic breakfast is included as well! Down sides include an unsafe storage room, a staff that is too laid back, and a wifi network that is unstable where you have to ask for a password every hour. Overall, i would recommend this hostel to anyone who is on a budget. (25 euro a night) more
