The hotel is located between two metro stops and is less than a 10 minute gentle walk through a pedestrian street. Its extremeley well located for the shops and not too far from the old city. Its close to numerous restaurants and the market by the Quai and Les Halles are must see. The hotel room was average and the... more

Good value room but absurdly overpriced breakfast (opt out and get a coffee elsewhere). The strenght of the hotel is its location, just behind the main shopping street. Otherwise its quite ordinary and generic, slightly above Ibis standard. The corridors need urgent redocorating. Fine for overnight stays if on business. more

The hotel location is good. Across the road is the Boscolo Grand Hotel and around the corner is the Hotel Carlton. Rue de la Republique (the pedestrian mall) is a minutes walk from the Mercure. The mall is lined by shops, cafes and banks. Old Lyon is an easy 10 mins walk across the bridge. Also an easy 10 min... more

this is in a good position, but very difficult even to unload luggage. there is a public carpark fairly near, but difficult to drive back again as so many one way roads. carpark was expensive. However we could walk from hotel to sightsee. room was small, but quiet, and the airconditioning worked well. more

Just back from a 4 day stay in Lyon. We were very happy with the hotel. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the the best shopping area and only 10 minutes over the bridge into Old Lyon. We booked a junior suite and it was very spacious (the regular rooms looked smallish on the floor plan on... more

My family and I were recently in Lyon for 2 days - wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel was fine, we booked a junior suite as there were 3 of us - room was huge, we had lots of room, large bathroom, very comfortable room. There was a bit of wear and tear in the hallways, but the... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel over Easter weekend. The room was clean, but very small. We did not find the hotel staff to be friendly or helpful. They rarely acknowledged us whenever we walked through the lobby. Location is convenient. Internet service was available (6 euros for one hour, 15 euros for 3 hours). Parking is available... more

At 67€ per night for a double room this hotel is probably the best stay in the whole city. Location is extremely central, hotel is clean and beds are king size, bathroom new and fully equipped, tv and pay tv, wireless internet. Everything perfect. The only issue: you cannot open the room's window that is locked (we were at 7th... more

A nice clean property. The rooms are ok in size with clean bathrooms and a decent shower. The frontdesk service was one of the friendlier I have received in France with friendly smiles and greetings whenever I called down. What gives the property good grades is the central location to some exceptional shopping, transport and Lyons fantastic food district. Plenty... more

This is such a great deal at 72 Euros a night. The location is excellent with the pedestrian shopping area one block from the hotel. Also, on Sunday there is a market just across the river! This is another hotel that is pet friendly with a nominal charge but they often wave it. I have stayed here two separate occasions... more
