It seems years have passed since the last reform was done at this hotel. The room we had got was shabby and old, with hole on the wall and curtains as well as on the linen. The bathroom was tiny and it was disgusting to have a shower. The breakfast was very poor and the coffee was horrible. Never again! more

The whole place is in need of urgent rennovation. The rooms are pretty basic, but the beds are good and comfortable. The reception staff are not exactly over friendly, but are at least fairly efficient. However, that is where it stops. In the rest of the hotel there is no service at all! don't listen to the bad reviews from people who complain too much. a friendly hotel, in a great location right near the metro. everyone speaks english and are very helpful. lovely clean rooms, HUGE pillows and very quiet rooms. great hotel! beautiful city! highly recommended! more

Spent three nights here for rugby world cup. While I know the hotel was three stars, but it still exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and well looked after, with good aircon/ heating. Excellent buffet breakfast, and a good restaurant, ate there just the once but food was superb (hey this is Lyon they take that kind of thing... more

Akan's review puzzles me. I found this to be a perfectly nice hotel, especially at the relatively low price for Lyon, and my room was clean and reasonably spacious. The worst hotel in France, we went with a group and it was a terrific experience. Rooms are dirty (preservatives under the bed), with broken objects.. don't believe to the pictures on the web site..reality it's VERY different!!!!! I hope to publish soon some pictures, good trip. more

I am very pleased with this hotel. It's a 5 min walk from the metro. The staff are lovely (and speak English). The room was spacious, modern and clean. I would stay here again more
