The hotel boasts of its "soundproofed rooms" - but this did little to drown out the tortuous drilling, banging and alarms going off from 0930 in the morning. Stayed over Christmas 2005. We must have had the smallest room in the hotel, very tiny, double bed, small desk, tv cabinet and room was VERY full. Was this because we booked through Expedia? We stayed here for a week and a half in June 2005. The outdoor pool is indeed excellent, as is the exercise equipment, saunas, etc. However, 2 things ruined it. First, we ordered room service, the pasta of the day, and were brought nothing but noodles with butter, salt, and pepper. It cost 20 euros, or more than 23 dollars.... more

This hotel is a great "getaway" hotel at the edge of Lyon. It has the best health club I have seen in Europe: indoor 25m pool, workout gym, first-class spa, tennis and squash courts, outdoor 50m pool with heated whirpool maze.
