There are not many hotels in this neck of the woods, so if you need somewhere to stay around, you can't do better than this! That said, it is perfectly acceptable, characterful and reasonably priced. The reception is friendly enough though sometimes the staff are hard to find! I didn't use the restaurant but it looks nice enough. There is also an eat in / out pizzeria, also not used - nothing wrong, just that I was taken into Lyon by a colleague.
The rooms - well this is probably the least endearing feature. Entry is outside, round the back and up stairs. The room was furnished for function not comfort. The radiator was necessary as it was only just above freezing during the night. The toilet was not heated at all, so not the place to read the newspaper. The shower room was again simply functional.
