We returned after a two year hiatus and found Villa Florentine even better than ever....particularly the staff. My husband I have never been so helped at a hotel in our entire life. Wonderful staff. The front desk personnel during our stay were not sufficiently courteous or responsive. They either lacked proper training, were not supervised adequately, or both. There was a very serious problem during our stay. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until they correct this problem. We stayed here one night on our way back from Reims to Geneva, and it was well worth the detour. The hotel has its own style (you have guessed right: that of a Florentine villa...) which some people will adore and others will find a bit overdone, but the location is superb and the staff and management are extremely warm... more
