Has a fabulous first stay here 10 years ago, but each time we visit, it is clear that while hospitality has raced ahead, this hotel has stayed put. It certainly it no longer deserves to charge its very high rates. Rooms: Get the right room and it is still charming, if tired - old wood and mountain views. But beware,... more

My wife, 8 year old child and I went for a weekend to this hotel. It is build as a typical mountain chalet, in the style of a farm, with several buildings connected by passages. The hotel is visually very attractive from the inside, the interior design is astounding, it has clearly been designed by someone with a real sense... more

We just came back from Fermes de Marie after a one week ski trip with our three teenage children. Very well located just outside of town. They have a shuttle although it is a short 10 minute walk into town that we made often. We were on the demi pension, with breakfast and dinner included. There are 5 restaurants altogether... more

Best room in the house is a below average room at other resorts at this price tier. Broken furniture, lack of basic necessities, above kitchen so you get the noises/smells at night and early morning Spa is noisy, smoky, with uncomfortable beds and mediocre services Jacuzzi is 85F, and like the pool is usually filled with toddlers (0-2 yrs), no... more

We stayed here for a late snowboarding break. The hotel iteslef is wonderfully designed, very cosy with wood and fires but still spacious enough to get lost in. It is located a little way from the lifts and the town but the shuttle bus is convenient and runs regularly. The food is fantastic and portions are immense. I would say... more

We visited this hotel for lunch whilst on a day trip to Megeve and can't wait to return, either for more fantastic food or to stay! It's a typical ski resort chalet-style hotel and would be even more beautiful once the snow has fallen. It's location on the outskirts of the town is either good or bad depending on what... more

We went for five days to ski. We took our 18month baby with us. The room we were taken to was miles from the centre of the hotel and was tiny and pretty poorly appointed. In fact we were going to leave it was so bad. We asked to be moved and were accomodated in a better room close to... more

nice lobby, excellent breakfasts very well decorated in a luxurious mountain spirit the room is OK but small even when you choose the one with corner spa - pool- garden conclusion: extremely beautiful hotel with all conveniences, but the room is really small for such a massive price! more

One of my best hotel experience I spent there one week in the summer. The location is ideal : quiet, at 5 minutes walking distance from the cosy shopping area of Megeve. Garden is small but there is room enough to preserve privacy. Room ("chambre avec coin-salon") is spacious, chalet-style, fine bathroom. Food is of very high level : excellent... more

I don't think I have ever stayed in such a wonderful hotel as this. I stayed over Christmas and then just had to return for a lunchtime visit the following year....unfortunately we didn't have time to stay overnight the second time. The rooms were charming, although slightly small, but we didn't mind at all as it added to the atmospheric... more
