Great hotel directly opposite the slopes and ski rental shops. Very convenient. Rustic chalet feel. Great service. Owned by Rothschilds. Don't let 3 star rating disturb you. I think it's three star because it doesn't have an on-site restaurant for dinner but they have a great breakfast. For dinner you walk 150 metres down the road to their restaurant which has great food from Fondues to Beef (and Bison), Lobster, escargots, lamb, fish in a wooden chalet setting. Rooms are cozy with balconies with great views. You feel like you're in someone's chalet. Bathrooms are not luxurious but functional. Reception area feels like private living room(s) with big fireplace and pool table for the athletically inclined. No dinner on-site but nice evening drinks served. Afternoon tea also after skiing. Just go. You won't regret it. more
