“Great chalet, location not ideal”

The chalet was on the edge of the resort up a little road off the main road into Val d'Isere but more towards La Daille. Not brilliant in terms of location but it meant we could either head towards the centre and take the Bellevarde lift or head the other way and take the funicular. Skiline warned me it was... More

My friends and I have just returned from our week skiing in Val D'isere and Roc Merlet was a great place to stay. Sarah and Jess were our hosts - the food was amazing and they really catered to our every need. The rooms are clean and warm and really quiet. Its a 3 minute walk to the free bus... More

We have just returned from a week in this chalet where we found the service provided by the 2 LeSki chalet hosts, Sarah and Corrie, was wonderful. There are external ski lockers just outside the chalet door for each room and a boot room on the ground floor. There are no heated boot racks, but the room is warm enough... More

“Continual disappointment”

As a seasoned skier this year we found a last minute deal to Chalet Roc Merlot which although not ski-in ski-out had an agreeement with the ski hire shop next to the slopes where we could leave skis. On arrival we realised that the ski hire shop is nowhere near the slopes and much less convenient than leaving the skis... More
