Reading the reviews before our trip, I was anticipating small rooms that weren't necessary that quiet. I have just returned from a week in Hotel Le Kern. We booked with Thomson but they were not a great deal of use to us and after a longer than expected journey to get to Val D'Isere I was looking forward to getting to our room. I had read the other reviews on here and so wasn't expecting too... more
great clean tidy staff couldnt have been more helpfull perfect location for slopes and restaurants rooms cleaned and towels changed daily couldnt fault any thing there but im not a great sleeper it was so noisey you could hear any noise out side and in the street and if anybody got up in the night you knew about it if... more
Spent a week skiing in Val D'isere in December 2006 and stayed in Hotel le Kern. Was a little bit apprehensive about saying in a 2 star hotel but shouldn't have been!
