We stayed for one night at the Aqua Aurelia. We were really looking forward to the luxury of the hotel after staying at more budget hotel (Hotel Colmar) in the town. First impressions of the staff were excellent. They even let me use their internet the day before we officially checked in. Check in isnt until 3pm so we were able to leave our luggage at reception and when we did check in our bags were already waiting in our room. Although we requested a upper floor room so as our junior suite would possibly have a good view over the spa we were located on the ground floor. Thankfully instead of a balcony we did get a terrace and a lovely view of the spa front entrance and the church which was very picturesque. We had patio funrniture but as the weather was wet and a bit cold we didnt get to make use of this feature. The room was quite impressive but for £200 a night there are high expectations.
