Upon checking out I saw a charge of Euro 100 against my room. I asked what this was for and was told that the housekeeper had seen a towel in my bag and believed it was "stolen" by me from the hotel. After being humiliated in the hotel, I proved to them that the towel was infact a free gift... more

My wife and I just returned from a three night stay at the Brenner's Park Hotel and Spa in Baden Baden, Germany. The Brenner's Park Hotel and Spa is one of the old style European luxury hotels that we had read about but never stayed in. We decided to splurge and spend three nights there on a package deal (pay... more

Last night I re-read the reviews, and almost skipped this hotel. We picked up a Mercedes from the facotry in Sindelfingen (about 1 1/2 hours from Baden-Baden), and since neither my wife and I are big on spas, and some of the reviews were negative, I thought about just going on to Alsace-Lorranine and Strasbourg. I am very glad we... more

We stayed at Brenner's May 7-8, 2007 while on a driving tour of Europe. The location of the hotel in the Black Forest region is really perfect for taking day trips or just enjoying the town with all its shops and restaurants. Our rooms were of a nice size and quite comfortable. Our meal at the restaurant was outstanding and... more

We spent three nights at this lovely hotel in the peaceful town of Baden Baden. We had obtained a "deal" through a hotel website, and in hindsight, I suspect that this was available because parts of the hotel were under construction. Although the hotel management did their utmost to minimise the disruption, I wish that we had been advised of... more

I'm an admitted "spa junkie". Wherever I travel, I always go to a local spa to relax for several hours. So, needless to say "I'm no novice." When my husband and I were planning our trip to Germany this past September, Baaden-Baaden was a MUST. One of the true spa capitals of the world. I've read spa magazines for years... more

We stayed in a junior suite during late August 2006 for two nights with our three children (9,7.3). We can not fault the hotel on its warm welcome and child friendly service (child bathroom packs, child travel treats, child cocktails, child splash hour, kids club). The staff were competent although maybe not exceptional (restaurant manager bit haughty). Breakfast was exceptional,... more

We had been told by our European friends that the Brenner's is "THE Celebrity Hotel in Baden Baden", and after seeing their website, we had rather lofty expectations. I won't say that the Brenner's isn't a beautiful hotel, because indeed it is. I won't say that the service was terrible, because it wasn't (although, as discussed below, it wasn't amazing... more

My significant other and I stayed at Brenner's for four nights beginning July 3rd. This is a fantastic property, service is impeccable, the rooms are decorated with fine furnishings, and fanstastic bathrooms. We had a Junior Suite overlooking the park and Liechtentaller Allee and were thrilled with the view. While this hotel is quite expensive it is a great value... more

We picked this hotel because it's in the "1000 Things To Do Before You Die" book, and we were not disappointed. It's absolutely the most fantastic hotel we've ever stayed in, and we travel extensively. From the fresh flowers everywhere, to the attentive service, each detail was taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa; I will recommend to make... more
