We stopped at the Hotel Adler on route to the Alps from the UK. Arrived lateish and had no problems with getting a fantastic meal although the menu needed to be translated into English for us :) The room was one of their more expensive but had a large ensuite and good facilities. 70's/80's decor topped it off for us... more
Very simple decent furnished rooms, with radio and tv, toilet on the floor, some rooms with shower on floor for sharing. Quiet. Near train station and next to bus station with busses running directly to Baden-Baden Center every few minutes. Small Breakfast buffet. Adler has only a few parking places - not enough. Very conveniently located approximately 5 minutes walk from the main train station was my reason for this place of stay, this family run hotel charges reasonable rates with a bar/ restaurant serving decent fare. Rooms are very 1980's decor (eg. advocado green bath suite) but clean, with TV, telephone and even a shoe shine machine. Continental breakfast served is adequate... more
