My wife and I stayed here for three days in September 2009. The hotel is in this gorgeous little town/suburb called Rohrbach which is in the south of Heidelberg city centre. The rooms are massive. It has a kitchenette so if you wanted to, you could easily cook your own food. Our room was clean, no complaints about the quality. It could be noisy in the morning and because we were in the 'town' centre of Rohrbach, you could hear the town bells quite easily and would more than substitute any alarm clock.
We had a rental car so this place was a great location to base ourselves in but I can imagine this may not be quite as convenient otherwise, though trams were quite frequent and the hotel had easy directions for you to follow should you want to catch a tram to the city centre.
They had continental breakfast available for a fee (8 Euros) but we opted out of it so I can't comment on the quality of the food. The town of Rorhbach itself like all of Heidelberg really is...
