very conveniently located , 2 steps from the Main train station and 5 mins from the bus terminals and tram stops. rooms were clean, quite small, Quality of room furniture,walls,flooring not very good. U could feel the roomfloor shake when people ran in the corridor. We went during the Heidelberg fest so rooms were exceedingly expensive with no breakfast included. more

The Ibis is one of the best options in most of Germany. They tend to have hotels located next to train stations - or very close. No frills accommodation but with all the required comfort.
