The hotel is typical of the Holiday Inn chain. In the middle of farm fields so it is a quiet area. We did enjoy some of our meals. Hubby loved some of the pastries served. Stayed for 2 nights while on business. On arriving at 7pm on a Wednesday night found there were no normal rooms left. So was upgraded to "Junior Suite". Only two positives; very kind staff and two swimming pools for the kids to enjoy. The rooms were small, the hotel was too far away from the beautiful city of Heidelberg (our fault; we had not been there before). Our biggest complaint was the extremely expensive meals at the hotel... even though "kids eat free!", the adults pay an unbelievable... more
