The hotel is located very conveniently if you happen to work at SWR broadcasting station, as it is just across the road.
That is also the main attraction: Location. Not that prestigious, but convenient. A tram station some 50m away, with good connections to the main station (less than 10 minutes). Walking distance to the thermal baths (Leutzebad and Mineralbad Berg) and museums (Staatsgalerie).
On the minus side: No ensuite facilities, no lift - fairly basic accommodation, but clean and much quieter than one would suspect from the location at a busy thoroughfare.
Verdict: OK, value for money, but with just a little more to spend, there are better venues nearby.
