I recently had a chance to return to Stuttgart, Germany on business. I had not been here in about 15 or 16 years. I was having trouble finding a hotel within Government Per-diem rates and remembered this quaint, former hunting lodge, from a previous stay. I did a Google Search and found the hotel. I had a very nice room on the third floor. The proprietress, Frau Lutz, speaks excellent English and even understood my German, which I have forgotten much of since living there over 20 years ago. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant serving wild game as one of their staples. The waiter Herr Stein is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very nicely laid out and is very tasty. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants something a bit out of the ordinary for either a business stay as I had or a pleasure stay. more
