Disappointingly, this property suffers blatantly from rather unnecessary and tiresome methods of maximizing profit at the expense of customer experience - basically selling way beyond comfortable capacity of any of the facilities. Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a conference. Fantastic location, surrounded by snow-topped mountains, looking down onto beautiful valley below. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in ! Luxury and service all the way. Not cheap, but highly recommended. more

This is truly the best place we have ever been!!!!!! The room was amazing with nothing left to want.The room included a 30 X 20 wrap around deck and floor to ceiling windows. Not much on hotel but for those interested the site has some history. This was the location of Hermann Göring's House. He had a house and pool where the current ornimental pool, near the tree line is located. There use to me more of a hill where the current hotel is located but that and the bomb craters were bulldozed... more

I loved the architecture of the building, which is a great cross between a designer, boutique style hotel and mountain lodge. The hotel is fitted out with the highest quality fittings and feels extremely luxurious. We stayed here on our honeymoon tour of Europe as a treat. They do have some good deals available on line which are worth hunting for. Our favourite point was the heated outside swimming pool which was an amazing experience. The staff are very courteous but if you are hoping for a friendly hotel this may not be for you.... more
