It is near enough to the center of the village that it is convenient, yet far enough away (about 1/2 mile) down a small country lane that you are not staying among the crowds. We stayed here on a whim just from driving by. The staff was very friendly, rooms very clean, breakfast good. The view was beautiful. Not a hotel we would rush back to. Nothing wrong with it but we stayed in much better and friendlier places during our three weeks holiday. Not much of a welcome,very basic breakfast and food in restaurant was OK Hotel was almost empty during our three night stay. Good position for visiting the castles. more
