Spent one night here and that was enough. Hideous, old-fashioned decor and light fittings hanging off the ceiling. It was clean and cheap (£55) but I would not recommend for anything other than a late-night stop over. More like a hostel than a hotel. Staff were not particularly welcoming. more

It was under renovation when we stayed there for Octoberfest. Our particular room smelled like sewage coming from bathroom drains. It was pretty bad. I booked hotel based on positive reviews and was not disappointed. The hotel is under renovation and only a couple of floors have been completely renovated. I had a single unrenovated room on the fourth floor that was clean, spacious, had a large LCD TV. Staff was friendly and do seem to be trying. Unfortunately the free wifi was intermittent.... more

The whole building is under construction but that's not the main problem. The staff is completely disorganised. (incl. the manager) They took the hotel over in July 2007 and it looks like it's a long way to a good management.
