AS many pointed out in these reviews, the best feature of this hotel is the staff: they are incredibly kind! The location is also great, 2 mins from the Hauptbahnhof, and thus all good public transport destination in Munich, including airport, Messe, etc. The negative part is the noise at night on the street, make sure you close the windows... more

This is really more like a 3 star hotel. Christine and her staff are fantastic as we felt like distant family from the beginning. We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Monaco during the tail end of Oktoberfest. Trying to save a few Euros, we stayed in one of the "Hostel Rooms" which really is a bad way of explaining... more

My room was small but cozy and spotless; the location was very convenient, and even though the neighborhood is not the classiest, I never felt unsafe. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. more

I stayed this hotel with my friend in September 2009. We felt very comfortable. Clean room, good service, convinient location. That is near the Hbf and the October fest park. We enjoyed the fest fully. I appreciate the hotel. more
