Very good hotel, with spacious and very clean rooms. The breakfast plentiful, fresh and delicious. Very best location near the central station (HAUBANHOFF), and 15 minutes walk from Marienplatz and old city of Munich. more

We prefer to fly into Munich instead of Frankfurt when traveling to Europe; and our hotel of choice is the Regentpark Hotel in Halbergmoos just adjacent to the Munich airport and a bit north of Munich. Hotel Website: http://www.airport-hotel-regent.com/ more

I traveled with my husband and another couple to Munich to experience Oktoberfest. (It has to be seen to be believed & I encourage all interested to do it!) Reservations were made 8 months ahead and rates were about $350 U.S./night. GOOD STUFF: * You cannot beat this location. Especially if you plan to use the Bahnjof (train station) for... more

If there is one thing positive that has to be said about this hotel is that it's extremely close to Munich Main station. It's perfect if you need to catch up a train early in the morning or if you plan to arrive late. The main station has also one of the largest S-Bahn/U-Bahn station of the city that will... more

We stayed for a week in Regent in July 2009. I've chosen this hotel because of it's closiness to Railroad Station, we planned a lot of out-of-town trips. It takes 5 minutes to get to the station. We also walked to Pinakotek and Regency (20 minutes), Marienplaz (15 minutes)). Most sight seeing tour companies have their starting point at the... more

My friend and I have just returned from a weekend in Munich staying at the Regent Hotel. Their own web site says it's just 150m from the central station... Yes from the tracks!! It's more like 300-400m depending on where you get off the s-barn from the airport. Also it is a 20 minute walk to the main town square... more

This hotel has a fantastic website showing the very impressive Hotel Rooms and reception area. Reception area was stunning!!! Rooms however were dirty, beds were covered in stains, shower broken! Extremelly dated!! We went as two couples and our firends room was worse than ours!! Still waiting on a response to my complaints card! Avoid thius place like the plague!... more

1st floor rooms that me and a friend were originally put in were disgusting - 70's decor and really bad smell. Complained and were moved to 3rd floor where the rooms were more modern / refurbished in past 10 years and didnt smell. So the bottom line is if you get put on the 1st floor and your room was... more

Myself and my fiance stayed here with 2 friends (another couple) and it was absolutely terrible! We had been in Germany to ski and snowboard in the Garmisch area. We broke our trip on the way home so that we could relax and see some of Munich city before flying home the next day to Scotland. When we arrived to... more
