The Tulip is an excellent choice for a short stay in Munich, 5 mins walk from the Metro, 40 mins on the train from the airport. Early check in was fine and the rooms, although slightly dated were very clean. The bed was comfortable and gave an excellent night's sleep. We stayed here for the weekend whilst attending the Christmas Market. The hotel is located about 300metres from Isartor Sbahn station and about 300 metres from Marienplatz. 40 minutes from the airport by S bahn and cost 8.80 euros to get there without changing lines. We stayed in the hotel for a weekend during Oktoberfest. The staff was very good. They cleaned rooms immediately after the patrons checked out so we were able to check in early and take a shower before going to Oktoberfest- you can't put a price on that.
