I stayed here for two nights recently and while I do understand some of the previous negative reviews, I enjoyed the hotel and would not only recommend but would stay here again myself if in Munich. The issue most previous negative reviewers had seems to be the style and character of the hotel, calling it out-dated and run-down. It's true... More

My husband and I recently stayed in this hotel, September 2011. We were on a European tour and did not realize we would be in Munich for Octoberfest. We assumed Octoberfest was held in October! As a result hotel was EXTREMELY expensive. That aside because of the cost I assumed it would e a top notch hotel like the ones... More

Hotel looks very simple and boring outside, but interiors are nice. Lobby area is lovely and I think it is the only part that has been renovated recently. Rooms are fine, althouhg not my style, but definitely need an urgent renovation. Carpets, furniture, bedding, all extremely old. TV is ancient. Bathrooms are great with huge bathtubs. Then again toiletteries are... More

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. My family and I were given a lot of attentions and were kindly treated during our stay. The facilities are very good, you can use a computer in the lobby for free, including the printer; the wellness area is also good, a quiet place to... More

This hotel is a simple yellow box from the outside. Once you enter it is well furnished and the rooms and bathrooms are large, ellegant and well supplied. It is close to the train station and close to the center of Munich, both less than five minutes walking. The restaurant has nice food but it is very expensive. You can... More

I had wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time, and finally got a room rate I could justify (175 Euros). I was not disappointed. This is the nicest hotel I have stayed in this year, and the best since the Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg last year. Notably, this hotel is a member of the “Leading Small Hotels... More

I stayed in the Konigshof for two nights on a trip to Munich mainly for business, using the very good Leading Hotels of the World membership card (which is much recommended as it provides some valuable perks including free breakfasts at the member hotels). The room was fairly clean and well furnished (carpet stained and all a bit in need... More

My wife and I would highly recommend Hotel Koenigshof in Munich. We were greeted with smiles and assistance before we reached the door. The front desk personnel were very friendly and accommodating. They even liked my attempt at German conversation. Our room was spotless and inviting. It was very charming and it provided two comfortable Queen Anne chairs to rest... More
