This hotel was booked by the company I was doing business for. It was an easy find from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. An easy walk to Karlplatz and Mariaplatz. Rooms were clean and small. I did not use the restaurant for breakfast as there is a Coffee Fellows and Starbucks directly across from the hotel.

Stayed at the Excelsior over New Years, which is currently undergoing renovations on many of its rooms. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was in an excellant position. Less than 5 minutes walk from the main train station and on the main road to the Marienplatz for the Christmas markets. Desk staff were very friendly and helpfull. Upgraded to the Alpin rooms on the second floor. The rooms were very high spec.Ideal for a luxury city visit.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and willing to assist in any way. The room was big and the bathroom was fabulous !! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
