Our stay at the Imperial hotel was a real nightmare. It is very far from the centre, the staff is incredibly rude, the rooms are small but the bathrooms are even tiny, the food is terrible - - anything to add?! If you're about to choose this one, make up your mind! more

We stayed at the imperial hotel as part of a tour group so didn't actually choose to stay there. Our first impression was also that it looked terrible from the outside (and the foyer stank) but once in the room it was fine. The decor had been updated and was quite comfortable. I agree with the previou poster about all... more

My wife and I stayed here at the Imperial for 2 nights on the 10 Oct 06. The only reason we were here in Munich was to position ourselves so we could go by train down to Fussen on a day trip to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. Otherwise, we had no real desire to stay in Munich as we find... more
